Alexandra is a Principal in the Financial Empowerment and Monitoring and Evaluation (FE-ME) Practice at DNA Economics. She has over 14 years of experience in designing and leading research and monitoring and evaluation projects for government, donors, corporates, and non-profit organisations. To date, she has completed more than 40 evaluations and research studies.
Her areas of focus include socioeconomic development and public health, specifically HIV prevention. This work has been accompanied by publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at international conferences. Her areas of specialisation include monitoring and evaluation, research design and analysis, and project management.
Alexandra holds a PhD (Psychology) from Stellenbosch University, as well as a Masters degree in Research Psychology (with distinction) from the University of the Witwatersrand. She is also a member of the South African Monitoring and Evaluation Association (SAMEA).
