Grace Budiaki

Senior Analyst

Grace is a senior analyst in the Financial Empowerment and Monitoring and Evaluation (FEM-E) Practice at DNA Economics. Since joining DNA in 2022, she has actively worked on several government and private sector monitoring and evaluation projects in areas such as education, agriculture, tourism, science and technology and financial literacy.

Prior to joining DNA Economics, Grace served as a research assistant contracted by the World Bank at the Southern Africa Labour and Development Research Unit (SALDRU). In this role, she contributed to the development of the Youth Explorer website, a project aligned with the Presidential Youth Employment Intervention, mapping services available to youth across the country. Grace is particularly enthusiastic about supporting organisations in improving programme effectiveness and contributing to positive outcomes through development initiatives.

Grace holds a Masters degree in Applied Economics from the University of Cape Town, where she also completed her undergraduate studies in Economics. She is also a member of the South African Monitoring and Evaluation Association (SAMEA).
