Grace Budiaki


Grace works as an economist in the Financial Empowerment, Monitoring and Evaluation Practice at DNA Economics. Since joining DNA in March 2022, she has worked on government and private sector monitoring and evaluation projects in the areas of education, socio-economic development, tourism and trade, using various research and M&E methods.

Prior to joining DNA Economics, Grace was contracted by the World Bank to work as a research assistant at the Southern Africa Labour and Development Research Unit (SALDRU) to assist in the development of the Youth Explorer website. The project is part of the Presidential Youth Employment Intervention, and it maps services available to youth around the country. Grace holds a BBusSc in Economics from UCT and a Masters degree in Applied Economics from the same institution.
